Meditation... the Right Med!

CEBU, Philippines - It is often said that prayer is talking to God, and meditation is listening to God. Right. But beware of meditating the wrong way! For instead of harnessing the harmony, luck and prosperity that meditation brings for the wellbeing of the human being, it may turn out in the exact opposite.

Meditating in the feng shui way is the right medicine for the stressed mind. In feng shui meditation, breathing the right way - which is like when you were a baby, from the abdomen and not shallow lung rhythms - is the first step. The next, and last, most important step is to meditate in the right feng shui orientation or direction. Otherwise you will be like a cellphone or television set that has its power on but has no right signal; thereby, resulting in static reception or no reception at all. Equal to "low bat" or "no bat" in cellphones, so to speak.

So do not just leap into meditation as a leap of faith or fate! That is fatalistic meditation. Look before you leap. Look if you are properly seated and oriented in the right direction, in order to capture and harness the chi or beneficial life energies that will harmonize your mind with your heart, body and soul!

You may meditate in any position: lying down, sitting or even headstand as in yoga, so long as your meditative orientation is in the right feng shui direction. To be remiss of this fact is to end up tired, drained, grumpy, irritable, and a nuisance to yourself and others after your meditation.

Thus, to be able to truly listen to your God, meditate accordingly, observing feng shui principles. The same goes with exercise for mental and physical fitness. So there, aside from laughter, daily meditation in the right direction is the right medication for stress-free living. Happy medication… err, meditation everybody! (FREEMAN)
