Trick the Eyes, A walk through the Cebu Trick Museum

CEBU, Philippines - What you need to bring is a camera and a creativity hat, then you're all set for a truly unique visual feast.

Welcome to the Cebu Trick Art Museum. It houses 56 life-sized paintings of various themes ranging from history, masterpieces, romance, luxury, mirror, contemporary, among others. The Korean artists who were commissioned to create the masterpieces used the trompe l'oeil (French for deceive the eye) art technique which gives a 2D art piece a 3D effect. The concept is: the visitor interacts with the paintings by posing as if he/she is part of the photo. The exhibit attendants (look for Ate Nacyl) are on standby to assist the visitors. There are sample photo guide, photo tips & tricks mounted on the wall to take better pictures.

The museum also has a puzzle area for kids; so while waiting for their parents and siblings who are engrossed with the interactive activity, the kids can immerse themselves in engaging educational activities.
