Speechcom International Foundation (1976-2013) conducted its seminar workshop called “Speak, Sing, Swingâ€, an English mix of speech, songs and dances held April 10 to 24 at the Sacred Heart Center with culminating activity at Ayala Center, its co-sponsor.
Founder and trainor Dr. Mila C. Espina and battery of teachers, facilitators and media practitioners gave some 200+ participants an enjoyable learning experience. Some 1,000 plus attended the culminating musicale in Ayala last April 24, 2013.

Erny Elizondo, Chairman & CEO of Cebu Integrated Arrastre (CIA), Inc. dealing in cargo handlers and stevedores, celebrated his 80th birthday last April 21 at the Baseline Restaurant Grand Ballroom.
His celebration started with a Mass officiated by Msgr. Roberto “Boy†Alesna, parish priest of Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral.
More than 150 guests came to greet the strong and husky Octogenarian. Among the prominents noted were Mayor Michael Rama, Consul Enrique Benedicto, former Mayor Alvin Garcia, Totol Batuhan, former LTO Chief Alerre, Eskrima Guru Cacoy Cañete, former Ombudsman Primo Miro, relatives and friends of the celebrator.
