Fyang Smith and JM Ibarra

MANILA, Philippines — iWant has confirmed that its hit supernatural romance “Ghosting” will return with Part 2 of its first season this November, following the finale of Jaja (Fyang Smith) and Wilberto’s (JM Ibarra) love story last Saturday.

The announcement further fueled excitement for the continuation of one of iWant’s most talked-about Originals this year. It also sparked positive reactions from viewers on social media, with fans expressing eagerness to see how Jaja and Wilberto’s romance will unfold.

“Ghosting” has emerged as one of the most anticipated iWant Originals of 2025, with its trailers garnering over 23 million views even before the series premiered. Since its debut in July, it has consistently ranked among the Top 5 most-watched shows on iWant in the Philippines, underscoring its strong following and sustained audience interest.

A year after their “Pinoy Big Brother: Gen 11” journey, JM and Fyang recalled how they had prepared together for their first digital series in Metro’s latest digital cover.

“Nag-workshop kami kasi first digital series namin. So, siyempre pinaghandaan namin. Ayaw namin na ma-disappoint ang lahat ng mga sumusuporta sa amin,” Fyang told Metro.

“Pinaghandaan namin ‘yung role nang kaming dalawa since gusto namin bigyan ng magandang mapapanood ‘yung fandom namin,” JM added, referring to the supportive JMFyang fans.

“Ghosting,” an iWant original series directed by Theodore Boborol, follows the story of Jaja (Fyang), who visits her grandmother’s provincial home where she meets the lingering ghost of Wilberto (JM). As Jaja mends her heart after getting ghosted by her ex, she sees a blooming romance that threads between the line of the living and the dead. — (FREEMAN)
