CEBU, Philippines - Luzenne Sanchez Jones of Cebu placed first runner-up during the Miss Silka Philippines 2016 coronation held Saturday evening at the Glorietta Activity Center in Manila.
Jones, an Information Technology student at University of Cebu-Banilad, was among 30 other ladies from all over the country who vied for the title.
Davao’s Katrina Anne Castañeda Johnson was crowned Miss Silka Philippines 2016, while Mary Ann Mungcal of Pampanga and Jan Lian Claire Domingo of Tarlac were named second runner-up and third runner-up, respectively.
In May, Jones bagged the second runner-up spot in the Miss Mandaue 2016 pageant, where she also won awards for Miss Photogenic, Miss Professionalism and Best in Talent for her violin performance. (FREEMAN)
