Andrew Garfield snaps at reporter for Emma Stone question

CEBU, Philippines - State the obvious and incur Andrew Garfield’s wrath!

The actor and Emma Stone, his “Amazing Spider-Man 2” co-star and girlfriend of nearly three years, hit up the film’s red carpet premiere in London, where they spoke separately to local outlet ITN News.

Stone, 25, was the first to answer a hypothetical question about which animal’s abilities she would like to inherit after being bitten. (That’s how Garfield’s comic book character got his web-slinging abilities.) “I would probably want to be a bird,” the actress said.

Coincidentally, Garfield chose the same option. “A bird! An eagle!” the 30-year-old said. “I’d like to get bitten by an eagle and then I’ll have a nice fly around the world and I’ll s—t on bad people.”

When the reporter spoke to Garfield later on, she told him, “Your girlfriend gave the same answer.”

“Who’s my girlfriend?” he snapped back, annoyed at the idea of having to discuss his romance publicly. “You’re making an assumption about my personal life, and my personal life is not public property.”

“Isn’t it?” the reporter rebutted. “Nope,” Garfield told her.

The reporter then pointed out, “You’re in a massive film with her.”

Garfield lowered his guard a bit and replied, “We’re acting together, yes.”

Garfield and Stone will present at the MTV Movie Awards—just don’t ask them if they’re dating. (FREEMAN)
