SP02 Eduardo Dablo and P01 Arnel Buhisan were presented in the witness stand by defense counsel Honorato Hermosisima Jr. to destroy the testimonies of the prosecution witnesses who positively identified Wapille as the gunman.

Codilla said "after a judicious assessment of the evidence presented by the prosecution as well as the comments on the formal offer of evidence by the defense, hereby resolves to admit all the documentary exhibits formally offered by the prosecution as part of the testimony of the witness presented."

                    [Summary] => CEBU CITY — A former Pagadian City policeman tagged as one of the two suspects in the killing of Zamboanga journalist Edgar Damalerio pleaded not guilty when he was arraigned the other day. 


As the court had ordered, a new information was filed with the regional trial court in Pagadian City last week. The defense had argued that the city has jurisdiction over the case.


Defense counsel Honorato Hermosisima Jr., however, asked the court to release former policeman Guillermo Wapille, arguing that the new information filed is not actually new.
