MANILA, Philippines — The Cavitex Braves set out to prove their recent leg triumph is no one-off as the storm-delayed PBA 3x3 First Conference Leg 3 fires off today at Robinsons Place Las Piñas.
The Braves brought back Jorey Napoles, Bong Galanza and Dominick Fajardo from the triumphant cast of Leg 2 and enlisted Tzaddy Rangel in place of Chester Saldua as they go on this quest for back-to-back titles.
Cavitex holds the top seed in the two-day leg, which was originally slated Sept. 26 to 27 but was postponed due to Super Typhoon Karding. Napoles and Co. are up against Season 1 Second Conference titlist Pioneer ElastoSeal Katibays and Terrafirma in Pool A.
No. 2 San Miguel Beer leads Pool B with Blackwater and Barangay Ginebra while No. 3 and Leg 1 winner TNT vies in Pool C with Platinum Karaoke and NorthPort and No. 4 Meralco contends in Pool D versus J&T Express and Purefoods TJ Titans.
