MANILA, Philippines — The Taguig Generals and the Parañaque Aces won in thrilling fashion last Sunday in the Chooks-to-Go National Basketball League-Pilipinas (NBL) Chairman’s Cup 2021 at the Bren Z. Guiao Convention Center in San Fernando, Pampanga.
Dan Natividad scored a jumper with 1.9 seconds left as the Generals beat the Mindoro Disiplinados, 87-85, while Vincent Alves converted an alley-oop from Dwight Saguiguit as the Aces escaped with a 93-92 win over the Quezon Barons.
The Generals are now tied with Muntinlupa and Bulacan for third place at 6-3 and are still in contention for one of two twice-to-beat incentives in the semis.
