MANILA, Philippines — Joshua Pacio kept the Philippine flag hoisted following a smashing first-round knockout win over Japanese Yosuke Saruta last Friday in the ONE: Revolution at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
Pacio, 25, needed just three minutes and 38 seconds in knocking out Saruta and retaining his strawweight crown while making sure there’s a Filipino in the fight outfit’s list of division champions.
It also put an end to his trilogy with the Japanese fighter.
