MANILA, Philippines — Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) guns for a third straight win when it battles two-time champion Judiciary while Department of Agriculture tries to get back on track versus PhilHealth in the eighth UNTV Cup at the Pasig City Sports Center tomorrow.
The DENR Warriors collide with the Magis at 2 p.m. in a Group B setto while the DA Food Masters tackle the PhilHealth Plus at 5 p.m. in a lone Group A encounter.
The other Group B match at 3:30 p.m. pits the NHA Builders and GSIS Furies with the former out to improve their 2-1 mark in the event organized by UNTV president and CEO Daniel Razon.
Out to lead the Warriors are Ralph Lansang and Melvin Bangal who both scored 21 points in the team’s stunning 88-77 win over the Philippine National Police Responders last Oct. 2.
Expected to provide additional firepower for the Warriors are Paul Parreno, Ed Rivera and Des Ayson.
