Go For Gold, PCSO rally behind Philippines athletes

MANILA, Philippines — Go For Gold Philippines and the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office are throwing their full support for the success of Filipino athletes in the coming 30th Southeast Asian Games.

With its solid partnership with the PCSO, Go For Gold has been able to help over 100 national athletes from various sports to excel both in the local and international arena that made the country proud.

Asian Games champion Margielyn Didal of skateboarding, triathletes Nikko Huelgas and Kim Remolino, cyclists Daniel Ven Carino and Ismael Grospe Jr. are just some of the athletes that benefitted from Go For Gold’s backing together with International Master Marvin Miciano of chess.

They will try to settle for nothing less than a gold medal in the SEA Games that the Philippines will host on Nov. 30-Dec. 11.

PCSO general manager Royina Garma inspired the Go For Gold national athletes to exceed expectations during the press conference at Contis, Shaw Boulevard in Mandaluyong City yesterday as they strive for victory in the coming 11-nation sportsfest.

The Go For Gold program is the corporate social responsibility of Powerball Marketing and Logistics Corp. for sports.
