Creamline annihilates Chef's Classics for 3-0 start

MANILA, Philippines — The Creamline Cool Smashers showed no mercy against newcomer Chef's Classics in their PVL Open Conference first round matchup, 25-12, 25-5, 25-15 here at the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan on Sunday.

Creamline's 25-5 second set win over their opponents is a PVL record for the largest margin of victory in a set.

The Cool Smashers had unbelievable starts against the Red Spikers in the first two sets.

The defending champions held a 16-1 and 19-1 advantage in the first and second set, respectively.

While the Red Spikers had a better start in the third set, they still couldn't get anything going against the Cool Smashers.

Jema Galanza, Alyssa Valdez and Michelle Gumabao simply imposed their will on the Red Spikers.

The dominant win puts Creamline atop the standings with an unblemished 3-0 record.

Meanwhie, the Red Spikers have yet to notch a victory in the conference after two matches.
