MANILA, Philippines — The Ateneo Lady Eagles wished UST's Eya Laure well after the Rookie of the Year suffered an ankle injury in their UAAP Women's Volleyball Finals clash Wednesday.
Exiting the game at the start of the third set, Laure left both UST and Ateneo supporters hoping for the best.
After their Game Two victory, Ateneo Lady Eagle Maddie Madayag said that they will be praying for their injured opponent.
Both squads will face off once again on Saturday in a winner-take-all Game Three.
