MANILA, Philippines – The Ateneo Lady Eagles kept their title hopes alive after besting the UST Golden Tigresses in Game Two of the UAAP women's volleyball Finals, 26-24, 14-25, 25-21, 25-15, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay on Wednesday.

UST's Eya Laure exited the game for a while during a pivotal third set due to an ankle injury.

The Tigresses struggled to get any offensive rhythm going after that.

With graduating middle blocker Maddie Madayag at the forefront, the Lady Eagles overpowered UST to force the do-or-die Game Three on Saturday.

Despite a good outing from MVP Sisi Rondina, the España-based squad just couldn't overcome Ateneo.
