LGBA series Round 2 at Pasay today
MANILA, Philippines — Derby champions clash anew in the 2019 Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association Cocker of the Year series with 50 new participants joining them today at the Pasay City Cockpit.
The LGBA series’ first leg is a 7-cock derby supported by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000. Today’s new participants will compete in the second round elims.
Five gamefowl breeders who tallied 3-0 (win-loss) cards each in the opening round Friday are Hermie Pagtalunan (Franzopia), Buddy Robrigado and Kenneth Liao (Big R Farm), Joey Sevilla (Pleasant Drive), Aristotle Aguirre (Lightning Blade Alexa) and Custer Tiu (Keith Aris Hot CT 151).
Hector Magpantay (HGM Rancheros) posted 2.5 points while 20 others had two points each.
The first leg champion will be known on Feb. 22 (4-cock grand finals).
Meanwhile, new LGBA members from Catanduanes, Oriental Mindoro and Palawan are qualified to join the 2019 LBC Cup (starts on July 12), now with a bigger prize of P9 million.
