MANILA, Philippines — The Orange Tribe bannered by dancers Jayson and Joshua Zamora dominated the team competition in the Run With Me 2018, the third staging of Resorts World Manila’s annual celebrity-led race for charity which drew a record 5,000 participants and generated an all-time high P3.5 million for RWM’s six partner charities yesterday at SM Mall of Asia Grounds.

The Zamoras and their teammates logged a collective time of eight hours, 27 minutes, 37 seconds to reign supreme in the race, where the team standings were determined by the accumulated running time of the fastest two members of the tribe in each of the four categories, 32K, 21K, 10K and 5K.

Orange’s victory made the Hero Foundation, Inc, the recipient of biggest chunk at P1,050,000.

Orange bested the Blue Tribe of Dingdong Dantes, Meg Imperial and Adrian Alandy, which clocked 10:36:55 to win P875,000 for the YESPinoy Foundation, and the Green Tribe of Jeffrey Santo and Chuckie and Yen Dreyfus, which submitted 11:36:06 and netted P525,000 for Erda Tech Foundation.

Purple Tribe of Jeffrey Hidalgo, Abby Asistio, and Ria Atayde finished fourth with 11:49:48 followed by Brown Tribe of Sam YG, Slick Rick and Tony Toni (11:54:59) and Red of Rovilson Fernandez and Carlene Aguilar (12:15:50), winning P350,000 apiece for Right Start Community Development, Empowering Bright Minds Foundation, and Epcalm Adult Leukemia Foundation of the Philippines, respectively.
