MANILA, Philippines — Future taekwondo fighters are expected to be developed with the nationwide launching of the Smart/MVP Sports Foundation summer program early next month.

Organized by the Philippine Taekwondo Association, the much-awaited martial art classes will be held on April 2 to June 2 in all PTA branches and affiliates in Metro Manila, Regions 1 to 12, CAR, ARMM, CARAGA, PNP and AFP.

No less than former multi-titled international campaigner and now Makati Rep. Monsour del Rosario is endorsing taekwondo hopefuls to sign up, saying a few months they spare in learning the country’s most popular martial art event can improve and develop their personality and skills.

Rep. Del Rosario is one of the most successful products of the program crafted by the PTA, a member of the World Taekwondo Federation and Philippine Olympic Committee and recognized by the Philippine Sorts Commission.
