Bato Cup netfest set Oct. 27-29

MANILA, Philippines — More than 300 participants and foreign players gear up for the Philippine National Police Bato Cup Battle of the Champions Table Tennis Championships set Oct. 27-29 at the Garden Square of the Harrison Plaza in Malate.

Eight elite teams composed of Table Tennis Association of North District (TATAND), Hua Ching Foundation, Philippine Air Force (PAF), University of Cebu (UC), Star Paper Corp., Omila Sports Academy, PNP Table Tennis Club and Awei are competing in the battle of the champions division.

“We are expecting more participants including foreign players from Japan, China, London, Malaysia and Korea that will challenge the Filipino players. Aside from foreign participants, players from the Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao regions are also there to compete,” said organizing committee chairman PSSupt Michael John Dubria.
