MANILA, Philippines – Blackwater Elite is making more personnel changes—this time, in a bid to acquire Star Hotshot’s Gilas trooper in Allein Maliksi and rookie Christian Javier.

In a report first made by InterAksyon, the two teams have reportedly agreed to a two-for-two exchange. The young Elite side will be unloading Kyle Pascual and Bambam Gamalinda.

According to Spin.ph’s Gerry Ramos, the paperwork for the transaction is yet to be inked by PBA commissioner Chito Narvasa.

The trade was first teased by the league itself through a Twitter posting Saturday night.

Currently enjoying a 4-5 card in the Governors’ Cup, Blackwater will be adding a steady source of scoring in the sweet-shooting Maliksi. The Gilas gunner, who saw action in the SEABA Championships here last May, is joining national team player Mac Belo in the fold.

Javier, a big man out of University of the East, is expected to shore up Elite’s frontline with JP Erram and the Marcelo.

The Hotshots, on the other hand, sits at the fifth spot with a 4-3 record.

The two teams’ next assignment is the GlobalPort Batang Pier. Star takes the first crack on Friday while Blackwater gets to play them on Sunday next week.
