MANILA, Philippines – Juan Manuel Marquez considers his brutal knockout win over Manny Pacquiao in 2012 as one of the biggest wins of his storied career.

His retirement cake is a testament to this.

An Instagram post by Boxinghype shows the Mexican legend posing with his retirement cake, which features a boxing ring with figures of him and Pacquiao, the latter laying flat, in a depiction of their epic fourth fight.

Marquez and Pacquiao clashed a total of four times in their epic rivalry, which culminated with the Mexican knocking the Filipino icon out cold in the sixth round of their last duel in August 2012.

The 43-year-old Marquez recently announced his retirement from boxing. He leaves the sport with a record of 56-7-1, with 40 KOs. He defeated some of the best fighters in the divisions he competed, hauled several world titles, and is a first-ballot Hall of Famer once he becomes eligible five years from now.
