BRISBANE, Australia – Local fighter David Toussaint hacked out a split decision win over Shane Mosley Jr. in the first televised fight of the undercard of Manny Pacquiao’s showdown with Jeff Horn at the Suncorp Stadium here Sunday
Toussaint, from Canberra, Australia, used crisp hooks and lefts to rock Shane Jr. – son of former Pacquiao for Shane Sr.–to win with scores of and 77-76 (twice) and 77-75.
The elder Mosley wasn’t in town though to see his son fight.
Toussaint improved to 12-0 (with 8 KOs), while Mosley suffered his second defeat against 10 wins (7 KOs).
