MANILA, Philippines – Timothy Bradley vowed to do whatever it takes to beat Manny Pacquiao in their rubber match this April.

That includes targeting the Filipino icon’s recently injured right shoulder.

Speaking to boxingscene.com, Bradley said that’s what every smart fighter would have done.

“I think the answer would be – what would you do? Come on, let's think here. You are a smart guy. What would you do?” the American said.

At last week’s press tour to promote their fight, Pacquiao insisted that his shoulder has 100 percent healed. He incurred the injury while training for Floyd Mayweather Jr. last year, and he claimed it was the primary reason he lost to the undefeated American.

There had been reports that Mayweather was aware of Pacquiao's injury prior to their fight, so he went after it during their showdown.

While Pacquiao underwent surgery in Los Angeles to treat a torn rotator cuff, there’s no guarantee that he won’t re-injure it.

Bradley is fully aware of that.

“Would you target that shoulder? What would you do? I will do whatever it takes to win,” said the WBO welterweight champion. – Dino Maragay
