Archers overcome poor start, clip arch rival Eagles

MANILA, Philippines -- De La Salle Green Archers bucked a slow start to clip their arch-rival Ateneo de Manila Blue Eagles, 70-66, Sunday in the UAAP Season 78 men's basketball at the Mall of Asia Arena.

Jeron Teng and Kiefer Ravena cancelled out each other as the former fired 18 points and added six rebounds and five assists to the latter's 19-5-5 point-rebound-assists production. It was Joshua Torralba's second half explosion that helped the Archers come back from a 15-point first half deficit.

Torralba poured in seven of his total nine points in the second half.
