MANILA, Philippines - William Kang of Consnet Builders and Jho Madrinal of Romari Construction rolled big games to dominate Groups A and C while Randy Poon of American Wires took the Group B crown in close fashion in the Architects Bowling Club’s hi-lo event championship at the E-Lanes Center in San Juan last week.
Kang scored a 1338 to beat Boysen Paints’ Jerry Canuday Cham’s 1232 and Emerald Pipes’ Dante Manglicmot’s 1214 for the Group A title while Madrinal turned in a 1048 to defeat Boysen Knoxout’s Malou del Rosario’s 981 and Boysen Healthyhomes’ Michael Macasieb’s 963 for the Group C plum.
Poon, on the other hand, shot a 1139 to edge Boysen Paints’ Joan Mendoza’s 1136 and Novelle Furniture’s Toto Abear’s 1133 for the Group B diadem in the event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.
Meanwhile, ABC president Denis Jalandoon is inviting all architects, sponsors and ABC members to participate in the tournament every Tuesday starting at 7 p.m. at E-Lanes.
