MANILA, Philippines -  Natalio T. Carandang, eldest brother of People’s Journal sports writer Arman Carandang and former Manila Bulletin reporter Rolly Carandang, died yesterday due to lingering illness.

He was 66.

His remains lie at the St. Peter Memorial on Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City.

A native of Tanauan City, Batangas, he worked as property custodian and procurement officer of University of the Philippines.

He is survived by wife Aurelia, children Nelson, Aileen, and Dyan, in-laws Acel, Jay-R and Colt, grandchildren Shanise, Vito, brothers Vic, Lucio, Rolly, Nilo, Arman, and sisters Tina, Nisa and Lita. Interment will be announced later.
