Harden arrives in Manila for PLDTHome charity event

MANILA, Philippines -- Houston Rockets star James Harden arrived in the Philippines on Sunday night for PLDTHome: The Last Home Stand All-Star Charity Event slated on July 22-23 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Other stars joining Harden will be LA Clippers forward Blake Griffin, San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard, Indiana Pacers Paul George, Portland Trailblazers Damian Lillard, Toronto Raptors guard Kyle Lowry, Toronto Raptors forwards Terrence Ross and Demar Derozan, Dallas Mavericks center Tyson Chandler, Milwaukee Bucks Brandon Jennings, La Lakers forward Ed Davis and rookie Nick Johnson.

The two-day All Star festivities will see the NBA stars challenging Gilas Pilipinas in a pair of exhibition games. In between the scrimmages will also feature a slam-dunk contest, three-point shootout and the John Lucas Skills Camp and the Air Elite Dunkers.

This event will be for the benefit of the Philippine Disaster Relief Foundation (PDRF).
