Access Plus gets Bacchus support for motocross racing

MANILA, Philippines - Bacchus Energy Drink has joined the growing corporate support for two-wheel racing in the country when it forged a partnership deal with Access Plus motocross racing team at the seventh Gov. Junie Cua Cup Motocross recently at the newly built Q Motocross Hill in Cabarroguis, province of Quirino.

The deal was sealed by Bacchus Energy Drink president Amen Say and T.A. Marketing/Access Plus president Toti Alberto.

 The annual event was staged as part of the festivities in celebration of the Quirino Province governor’s birthday.

It was the biggest gathering of motocross enthusiasts as riders from various motorcycle clubs from all over the country, including the Access Plus Motocross Racing Team powered by Bacchus Energy Drink and Quirino’s very own Quirino Motocross Rider’s Club and Team Quirino, showed up either to compete for the titles at stake or extend their support to the event.

 All-time motocross great Glenn Aguilar and Dennis Stapleton provided the big show as they scored dominating victories in their respective divisions

Aguilar, the Access Plus/Bacchus Energy Drink Motocross Racing Team lead rider, proved to be the biggest crowd-drawer as he amazed the local folks with his impressive stunts, particularly his high jump at the table top before pulling off a convincing victory in the Pre-International class over Ricky Yorks.

Cebuano Jonjon Adlawan bagged third place while Dennis Stapleton and another Cebuano Jovenil Abellar ended fourth and fifth, respectively.

Stapleton emerged the Pro Open champion over Ricky Yorks and Adlawan. 

Samuel Wyet captured the 50cc title over Nicole Santos and Say Maxino; Ompong Gabriel copped the 65cc title over Pechopp Walter and Troy Estanislao while Janel Saulog prevailed in the All Ladies division over Pia Gabriel and Mia  Villalon.

DJ Petito pulled off a twin kill with a win in the 85cc category over Michael Chub and Gabriel and the Beginnners Production class over Christopher Bancod and Gabriel.

TJ Alberto reigned in the Novice Production,  Ralph Ramiento the Intermediate,  Christopher Obero  in the Local Enduro and Derrick Itchon  in the  Executive B category.

Bryan Villaroman and Roman Llorente also posted twin victories. Villaroman took  the Open Underbone and the Local Underbone class.

Llorente prevailed in the Executive A class and in the Executive Lites division.

Homegrown talents also showed their stuff, including Roldan Baclan (All-Quirino),  Bancod (All Region 2) and Christopher Banaag (Open Enduro Region 2).

Joining the roster of winners were Mark Bagtas, Jerry Beech, and.Bombet Santos.

 


 

 

Bagtas ruled the All-China race over Arsil Katoliko and Harvey Villena; Beech bagged the Veterans crown over Bombet Santos and Dexter Bacaba; while Santos topped the Open Enduro class over Christopher Oberio and Roldan Baclan.

Bacchus Energy Drink is also set to back up another major Motocross event when Province of Quirino will again play host to another race this September in line with its Foundation Day.
