Floyd still at it; Roach hits back

MANILA, Philippines - Floyd Mayweather Jr. is having a fun Christmas and he just can’t stop poking Manny Pacquiao on the Internet.

Days after sending a Christmas card to the world, one that tried to ridicule the Filipino boxer, Mayweather sent another one flying yesterday.

Mayweather, who loves to flaunt his riches, posted a graphic impression of him landing a left on the face of a defenseless Pacquiao.

“Juan (Manuel) Marquez ate Timothy Bradley’s left overs,” he said, referring to the Mexican counterpuncher who fought Pacquiao after Pacquiao lost to Bradley.

Marquez knocked Pacquiao cold.

“Now you’re telling me I got to eat Juan Marquez’s leftovers? Let me talk to the IRS about this…,” Mayweather also posted.

Talks of doing the Mayweather vs Pacquiao fight are on. But it doesn’t mean there are negotiations between the two camps.

The world still wants to see the fight but Mayweather is saying it’s not going to happen soon. He said Pacquiao’s doesn’t deserve a shot at him at the moment.

Pacquiao is facing tax problems and Mayweather said this could be the reason the Filipino superstar is hot on his trail.

Among Mayweather’s recent posts were photos of him sitting on a Gucci trunk the size of a personal ref, and a pair of diamond-studded Cartier watches. 

Just two hours after Mayweather made the “leftover” post on his Twitter account, which has a massive following of 4,555,636, it has been retweeted over 1,900 times.

It’s gone viral.

Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach, is not taking things sitting down. He took his own shot at Mayweather Sr.

On his Twitter account, Roach said, “Always good to watch old movies on Christmas. Watched Predator today. Great performance by Mayweather Sr.”

Roach’s post was accompanied by picture of Mayweather Sr. side by side with the image of the alien monster on the Arnold Schwarzenegger hit, “The Predator.”

That’s tit for tat.
