MANILA, Philippines - KidzHoops, the longest-running community-based tournament for kids, is scheduled June 9 at the RFM Gym along Pioneer St in Mandaluyong City.
The leveling tournament is slated May 19, at 2 p.m. after the 1 p.m. registration.
All boys and girls aged 8 to 14 are invited to join the all-Sundays basketball tournament, a breeding ground for future basketball stars in the UAAP and NCAA.
For a nominal registration fee, the kids are assured of five tournament games officiated by certified referees. Medals and special awards can be earned. Only 48 slots per age group are available on a first-come-first-served basis.
Now on its 10th season, KidzHoops is also putting up a 14-under team for a series of friendlies and a 3-on-3 tournament for the Pacrim Youth Invitational Basketball Friendship Games in Guam, USA on May 27.
