NCA derby up at Ynares
MANILA, Philippines - The National Cockers Alliance holds its weekly derby today with Gov. Ito Ynares, Nestor Mercado and Lito Orillaza hosting the event at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Top entries from the country’s leading gamefowl breeders slug it out again, including those from Remy Mercado, Bong Pineda, Boy Torres, Manny Ko, Sec. Ronnie Puno, Engr. Marfori and Mayor Panganiban.
Others fielding in their entries are Maam Rona, Mayor Alonte, Rep. Unabia, Bobby Mailig, Emil Chua, Atty. Garin, Tata Pete, Ricky Valencia, Gerry Ramos, Gov. Mercado, John Capinpin, Larry Rubinos;
James Ang, Dorie Du, Tady Palma, Mayor Timaliwan, Gov. Amante, Atty. Ambray, Jojo Cruz, Gov. Bong Carreon, Romy Lim, Manolito Sazon, E. Mercado, Atty. Santos, Gov. Plaza, Bulldog and Atty. Astorga.
Meanwhile, the Big Event, pitting the NCA group headed by Patrick Antonio and Manny and Arman Santos against the group of Gerry Ramos and Eddie Gonzales, will be held in November, also at the Ynares Sports Arena.
The NCA is the most prominent organization of cockfighting aficionados in the country. All NCA derbies are sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor.
