Rod's In This Corner offers Easter treat

MANILA, Philippines - A 10-round featherweight match serves as the special Easter Day presentation of Rod Nazario’s In This Corner tonight, 7-8 p.m. over PTV-4.

Leonard Guardiano tackles Jason Egera in the lone featured bout presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office and Petron.

The fight was part of the boxing promotion dubbed “Fearless Blows” held at the Pagcor Amphitheater in Bacolod City and never before been aired on local television. Reverend Henry Guanzon promoted the card.

Guardiano, 21, is a southpaw who hails from Bacolod City, Negros Occidental. Egera, 27, is also a southpaw from Siaton, Negros Oriental.
