Double title tiff marks 'In This Corner' day

MANILA, Philippines - A twin Philippine boxing championship highlights the exciting ninth anniversary presentation of the top rating weekly ring program In This Corner.

Defending champion Daniel Ferreras (Wow Magic Sing boxing stable) headlines the double title duel dubbed `Bakbakan sa Binangonan 2009” as he stakes his RP super-flyweight championship against Danilo Peña (Wildcard boxing gym).

The 12-round bout is a rematch of their January 2009 showdown, which Ferreras won via a majority decision.

The other championship match pits No. 1 contender Mating Kilakil (Touch Gloves boxing gym) against No. 3 Michael Landero (Wildcard boxing gym) for the Philippine mini-flyweight crown.
