MANILA, Philippines - Twelve executives of various companies take time off from their busy schedule to compete in the first Executives shooting tournament tomorrow at the PSC/PNSA range in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig.
They are Eduardo Idquival of the Marketing Account Group of Mercantile Insurance, Edward Go (corporate secretary of the Manila Yacht Club), Deostre Candelaria (general manager, Toyota Pasong Tamo Inc.), Gilbert Tan Lee (marketing president, Winterson), Gene dela Cruz (president, Auto Camp), Randy Reyta (owner, 7 Iron), Daniel Isla (president, Lexus Manila), Timothy Ong (president, South Pacific Container Corp.), Richard Cruz (vice president, Quality Container Corp.), Lito Tan (president, Evercrest Plastic Container Ind. Inc., Mario dela Cruz (manager, Mardikate Industrial Builders) and Raphael Benitez.
They will see action in the 25-meter standard pistol event, according to former Olympian Art Macapagal, who is also president of the organizing Philippine National Shooting Association.
The participants will be briefed on basic marksmanship and course of fire for 20 minutes, starting at 10 a.m. Action starts at 10:30, to be followed by the awarding ceremony.
