Seniang exits RP

-
Typhoon "Seniang" slightly gained strength as it moved farther away from the Philippines yesterday, but weather forecasters assured of fair weather conditions in the coming days.

Nathaniel Cruz, chief of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), said Filipinos can expect good weather conditions in the next five days, as Seniang finally exits the Philippine area of responsibility, while leaving six people dead.

In its final bulletin issued yesterday, the weather bureau said Seniang was last spotted 10 a.m. at 490 kilometers west of Subic, Zambales, with maximum sustained winds of 130 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 160 kph. It was moving west-northwest at 15 kph. — Helen Flores
