More Christmas wishes

On Christmas Day, we share in the joy of celebrating the Lord’s birth. ’Tis the season for wishing, hoping, dreaming, giving, praying and saying thanks for the gift of life.

Here are more Christmas wishes from your favorite sports stars and personalities — continuing from yesterday’s texters.

Philippine Amateur Track and Field Association president Go Teng Kok
–My wish is for (Celso) Dayrit to unite the POC (Philippine Olympic Committee) and stop playing politics. If he rewards NSAs (National Sports Associations) that perform instead of giving preference to his friends from NSAs that do nothing, I think the POC can be 100 percent united.

Coca-Cola coach Chot Reyes
–My Christmas basketball wish is to get better as a team. My non-basketball wish is for our economic and political troubles to find a long-term solution. My message to our fans: That they realize the value of effort and teamwork. And to never, never, never give up. In other words, play this game of life the way the TIGERS play basketball.

FEU and Viva coach Koy Bana
l–My Xmas prayers: To win the championship for Viva in the PBL (Philippine Basketball League) this conference and back-to-back championships for FEU in the next UAAP season and for FEU alumni and students to support and watch all the games. My message to fans: Thanks for your prayers and faith. It is my dream for the FEU community to be united. I pray that GOD meets all our needs.
