Sid, tuluy-tuloy na sa paghuhubad

Napapanood na ngayon sa Vivamax ang pelikulang Bugso na pinagbibidahan nina Sid Lucero, Hershie de Leon at Ayanna Misola.

Wala raw problema sa premyadong aktor kahit na napapadalas na ang kanyang pagpapaseksi o paghuhubad sa mga pelikula. “The way that film was put together is a little bit of everything for everybody. We all know that Vivamax has a particular genre that caters to a particular kind of audience. Why are so many people watching? These simple stories we have, they are small patches of truth. It’s just a little window to what we’ve already been doing. People get consumed by seeing these images onscreen. They tend to forget these are based on true stories. They’re happening. That’s why the little messages packaged in this kind of film, I wish it gets to the audience. It’s nothing but a reflection of who we really are here in the Philippines. Not to get confused with all the skin,” makahulugang paliwanag ni Sid.

Para sa aktor ay gusto lamang niyang gawin kung ano ang nakahiligan ng kanilang pamilya simula noon pa man. “Bata pa lang kami, we were already brought up in such a way that we are in this world. I’m game with anything as long as I’m comfortable with the people I’m working with. Sometimes, it’s not anymore important to me if the voice of the film is the same as my voice, or if I agree with it or not. As long as it should be a nice experience and people are giving me a chance. I’m good with that,” giit ng aktor.

Ian, ngayon lang nakahawak ng best actor trophy

Ngayon lamang naranasan ni Ian Veneracion na magkamit ng Best Actor award sa loob ng apat na dekada sa show business. Kasamang bida ng aktor si Heaven Peralejo sa Nanahimik Ang Gabi na isa sa mga kalahok sa Metro Manila Film Festival 2022. Masayang-masaya si Ian sa parangal na tinanggap para sa mahusay niyang pagganap sa naturang MMFF entry. “I’ve been in the movie industry for 40 years and this is the first time I received a Best Actor award. Thank you so much,” nakangiting pahayag ni Ian.

Malaki ang pasasalamat ng aktor sa lahat ng bumubuo sa kanilang pelikula lalo na sa kanyang mga kasamahang artista rito. “Thank you so much. First of all, all of us here as artists, we create lives to tell the truth. I’d also like to thank Mon Confiado and Heaven Peralejo because as co-actors we just react to our co-actors. Kumbaga sa sayaw, kung saan ka dadalhin, do’n ka madadala. Thanks to the genius Shugo Praico, my writer and director,” dagdag pa ng aktor.

Nasungkit ni Mon Confiado ang Best Supporting Actor award habang si Heaven naman ay nominated sa Best Actress award. Napapanood pa rin sa mga sinehan ngayon ang Nanahimik Ang Gabi.
