Good-Luck Karla Henry!

Sa mga milabay nga semana, naangkon na ni Karla Henry ang Miss Photogenic ug Miss Fontana awards. “I feel so pressured especially that I already got two major special awards. I am doing my really best for this pageant,” paambit ni Karla sa Banat Hugyaw.

 Dili na bag-o si Karla sa beauty pageants sanglit dinhi sa Sugbo, nahimo man siyang 2nd runner up sa Miss Mandaue 2005 ug 2nd runner up pud sa Miss Cebu 2006. “My experiences with the previous pageants that I have joined, have helped me a lot most especially the trainings that I got from Miss Cebu where we had a lot of seminars and workshops. And with Miss Earth, I have to really double time since I am the host country, so it’s a lot of hardwork”, flokang echos ni Karla sa Banat, Hugyaw, kinsa niadtong 2005 maoy nahimong Miss Tri-media isip pambato sa The Freeman Newspaper ug niining mantalaan .

Sa dihang ako siyang gipangutana unsa ang iyang preparations para karong gabii sa pageant, “Sus, rice gyud!!! I have to cut down on my carbo, otherwise, all my efforts will be put to waste. Lami kaayo ang mga pagkaon but I really have to discipline myself. The girls are so competitive but they are very friendly,” say pa ni Karla. Di sad diay lalim ni mag beauty queen ta oy, di ka tilaw og puso day! Heheheheehe.

Akong unang nakit-an ang beauty ni Karla pinaagi sa banggiitang designer, Dexter Alazas ug ako siyang na meet in person sa dihang mi-audition kini og usa ka show sa ABS-CBN Cebu ug mas nagka amiga mi sa iyahang pag –apil sa Miss Cebu. Humble, gwapa, buotan ug talented si Karla maong dili gyud ko mahibulong kung aduna kini mga offers sa showbiz. “As of now, I am not thinking about it yet, but I am not closing my doors if opportunities come my way. I am just so thankful to my friends and my family who have supported me all the way”.

Ang mommy ni Karla, Mommy Nenette Genteroy mutikang gyud karong gabii sa Clark Expo Ampitheater Pampanga para ipakita ang suporta sa iyahang anak. “I am so happy my mom is watching. My dad would have wanted to watch but he is in Canada now so I’ll just see him this Christmas,” lenggua pa ni Karla sa Banat Hugyaw.
