Namatay na Pinoy singer sa US, nag-donate ng kanyang liver!

Tatlong taon ding tumigil sa pagpu-produce ng pelikula ang FLT Films na pinamumunuan ng lady producer na si Mommy Rose Flaminiano. Ang huli pa nilang produced movie ay ang You and Me Against The World na pinagbidahan nina Kris Aquino at Robin Padilla at ipinalabas nung February 2003. Pagkatapos nito ay nag-concentrate muna si Mommy Rose sa kanyang real estate business, ang Ralf Realty na nagdi-develop ng mga subdivision sa Tarlac at Paoay, Ilocos Sur.

Masayang ibinalita sa amin ni Mommy Rose na balik-pelikula sa pamamagitan ng buhay ng boxing hero na si Manny Pacquiao.

Sa darating na Pebrero 8 ay magpapatawag si Mommy Rose ng isang malaking presscon para ipaalam ang kanyang pagbabalik-pelikula sa pamamagitan ng Pacquiao: Para Sa ‘Yo (tentative title) na ididirek ng premyadong director na si Joel Lamangan. Ayon kay Mommy Rose, si Jericho Rosales umano ang gaganap sa papel ni Manny at pinagpipilian naman sina Kristine Hermosa at Heart Evangelista sa papel ng misis ni Manny na si Jinky.Si Rudy Fernandez naman gaganap na trainor ni Jericho.

Ang nakalimutan lamang namin itanong ay kung may special participation si Manny sa pelikula.

Mendrei Leelin, may-ari ng Goldilocks Bake Shop sa L.A. at Rosy Cheeks Entertainment Group, Inc. na malapit na kaibigan ng yumaong singer at lead vocalist ng SOS (The Society of Seven) na si Gary Bautista na sumakabilang-buhay nung nakaraang Linggo (Jan. 29) matapos itong makaranas ng massive stroke habang ito’y nagtatanghal sa ika-25th wedding anniversary ng mag-asawang Mendrei at Cecile Leelin na nagkataon ding kaarawan ni Cecile na ginanap sa La Habra, California.

Narito ang kanyang mensahe: "It is with sadness that we share with you this tragic news. On January 28, 2006, Gary Bautista, the lead vocalist for Hawaii’s premier showband, The Society of Seven, suffered a massive stroke, while performing in La Habra, California during the 25th wedding anniversary celebration of Mendrei and Cecile Leelin, of Rosy Cheeks Entertainment.

"Gary’s condition took a turn for the worst in the hospital and lapsed into a coma the following day.On January 29, Gary was pronounced brain dead by two doctors. Since Gary was an organ donor, the first recipient of his generosity is a 24-year-old man confined at UCLA Hospital who desperately needed a liver.

"Gary leaves behind a wife, Riza and two children, Satino (14) and Jewel (10) currently living in Hawaii with his former wife, Julia (Julie). Gary was a trooper. One of the best and most talented entertainers you’ll ever meet. He will surely be missed.Tentatively, interment services are planned today February 4, 2006 at the Palms Mortuary on Eastern in Las Vegas."
