MANILA, Philippines — Mainit ang kampanya ng Behrouz Elite Swimming Team (BEST) Philippines sa 58th Malaysia Invitational Age Group Swimming Championships na ginanap sa Natio­nal Aquatic Center Kuala Lumpur Sports Complex sa Bukit Jalil.

Nagpasiklab ng husto si Brent International School standout Micaela Jasmine Mojdeh na humakot ng tatlong ginto at dalawang pilak na medalya sa girls’ 15-17 category.

Nakasungkit ng gintong medalya ang 2022 World Junior Cham­pionships semifinalist sa 400m Individual Medley (5:07.42) sa opening day kasunod ang 100m butterfly (1:03.23) sa second day at 200m butterfly (2:19.60) sa third day.

Nakapilak pa si Mojdeh sa 200m breaststroke (2:45.44) at 200m IM (2:25.37).

Nagparamdam din ng puwersa si International School for Better Beginnings student Yugo Cabana na humirit naman ng dalawang ginto sa boys’ 11-12 class.

Maliban kina Mojdeh at Cabana, nakasiguro pa ng medalya sina World Junior Championship veteran Ruben White at Lucena City tanker Peter Dean sa kani-kanyang events.

Pumangalawa si White sa boys’ 18-25 50m freestyle sa bendisyong ng impresibong 23.50 segundo habang tumersera naman si Dean sa boys’ 50m backstroke (28.35).
