Talaingod team sasabak sa volleyball exhibition games
MANILA, Philippines — Isang 15-member Batang Pinoy delegation mula sa Indigenous Peoples community sa Davao del Norte ang nasa Maynila para lumahok sa ilang volleyball exhibition games na idaraos ng Philippine Sports Commission sa Ynares Arena sa Pasig City.
Binubuo ang tropa ng 10 secondary girls players mula sa Ata-Manobo tribe, dalawang coaches, dalawang chaperon at isang school administrator.
Ang pagbisita ng mga Talaingod girls ay mula sa imbitasyon ni PSC chairman William ‘Butch’ Ramirez.
Napanood sila ni Ramirez sa gold medal match sa Batang Pinoy Mindanao qualifying.
“This exposure is part of Chairman Butch Ramirez’s instructions to provide a good exposure and experience for the team which can help them develop their skills in their sport,” ani PSC Commissioner Charles Raymond A. Maxey.
Nakipagtulungan ang PSC sa mga Rebisco Volleyball League organizers para sa nasabing exhibition games.
