“We all agree that these issues must be addressed and resolved quickly, but not in a hurry as due process still has to be followed,” sabi nina Macleod at Al-Musallam sa kanilang sulat na may petsang Hulyo 2.

Ayon sa dalawang opisyal, kinumpirma na rin nila ang pagbitiw nina da-ting POC president Ricky Vargas, dating chairman Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino at Board Members Clint Aranas at Cynthia Carreon.

“It must be noted that that the POC has had many opportunities to resolve these issues internally and peacefully, however, has not ma-naged to do so until now. Under these circumstan-ces, the IOC and OCA have the duty to offer guidance and assistance to resolve the situation in the interest of the Olympic movement,” dagdag sa dalawang mataas na opisyal sa IOC at OCA.
