Ruby pumalag sa mga ‘nakiramay’ sa kanyang kapatid na doktor!
“She is weak but stable. Please…,” ang pakiusap ng Eat Bulaga co-host na si Ruby Rodriguez matapos kumalat ang isang tweet na “PI. The president of the Philippine Pediatric Society just passed away from COVID-19. May she rest in peace…” noong Saturday night.
Kaya naman bumuhos ang nakikiramay sa pamilya ni Ruby.
Pero pumalag kahapon ang TV host / komedyante… “I have been quiet all this time about Dr. Sally Gatchalian status. Yes she is my sister. Yes she is confined. Yes we all are praying and scared. But when Fake News spreads and people texting me Condolences. I Ask Please She is fighting! She is weak but stable. Please that is what she needs. Your Prayers Not people spreading this kind of news. It Hurts so much to know that news comes from Drs pa! Please we ask everyone Pray with us.”
Ang fake news ang matinding nagpapagulo sa nagaganap na enhanced community quarantine kaya may ilang nakakaranas ng anxiety.
Though tatlong doktor na ang ang napabalitang namatay dahil sa covid kahapon ayon sa mga online report kasama na ang 34-year na cardiologist na si Israel Bactol ng Philippine Heart Center, ang anesthesiologist na si Gregorio Macasaet III ng Manila Doctors Hospital at ang oncologist ng San Juan de Dios Hospital sa nakalipas na dalawang araw.
Kaya tulad ng paalala ng DOH, manatili sa bahay. Ugaliin ring mag-fact check bago mag-share sa social media ng mga update sabi nga ni DOH Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire na paulit-ulit na sinasagot ang mga tanong ng mga tao.
