National ID registration kits ibiniyahe ng Navy sa Visayas Region

MANILA, Philippines — Naglayag na nitong Sabado ang barko ng Phi­lippine Navy upang ibiyahe ang 35,481 toneladang mga kargamento kabilang na ang mga registration kits ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) para sa national identification system (IDs) sa Visayas Region.

Ayon kay Lt. Commander Maria Christina Roxas, acting director ng Naval Public Affairs Office, ang BRP Ivatan (LC298) ay umalis sa Sangley Point, Cavite City nitong Sabado ng umaga para maghatid ng National Identification System (PhilSys) registration kits sa nasabing rehiyon.

Sinabi ni Roxas na ang LC298 ay pinangangasiwaan ni Commander Paul Anthony Yamamoto.

“This is in line with the logistics support extended by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) to the National Economic Development Authority (NEDA) and Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) using its sea, air, and land assets to enable the distribution of PhilSys registration kits to 32 PSA provincial offices all over the country”, ang sabi ng opisyal.

Nasa 35,481 toneladang kargamento na kinabibilangan ng 1,897 PhilSys registration kits ang lulan ng nasabing Navy ship na ipamamahagi sa Cebu, Bohol, Iloilo, Antique, Capiz, Negros Oriental, Negros Occidental at Leyte.
