12 teams target sa PVL 2nd conference
MANILA, Philippines — Palalakahin pa ng Premier Volleyball League (PVL) ang pamilya nito kung saan puntirya ng organizer na magkaroon ng 12 teams sa second conference ng liga na target idaos sa Pebrero sa susunod na taon.
May 10 teams ang nasilayan sa aksyon sa Open Conference ngunit nais itong palobohin pa para mas maging kapana-panabik ang salpukan sa susunod na edisyon.
“We’re looking at 1 or 2 more additional teams because we’re looking at a league with a maximum of 12 teams. We’re hoping to fill up the 12 teams by the next conference. This should add more flavor, more competition than we had last time,” ani PVL president Ricky Palou sa virtual press conference.
Nakatutok ang lahat sa Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference champion F2 Logistics na matatandaang nabigong makalahok sa Open Conference sa Bacarra, Ilocos Norte dahil sa injuries ng mga players nito.
“In the last conference, we had 10 teams playing. This time we’re looking at F2 Logistics to join us. They begged off last conference because their team wasn’t ready because they had a lot of players recovering from injuries. They begged off and said they will definitely join the next conference,” dagdag ni Palou.
Isinantabi muna ni Palou ang pagdaraos ng mga laro nang may live audience.
Siniguro naman ni Palou na mapapanood ng live ang mga aksyon sa tv at sa iba’t ibang online streaming.
Muling idaraos ang second conference ng PVL sa isang bubble setup.
Matatandaang matagumpay na natapos ang first conference sa isang bubble setup sa Ilocos Norte kung saan nagkampeon ang Chery Tiggo Crossovers.
Samantala, magtutulong ang PVL at streaming partner Puso Pilipinas sa pagdaraos ng PVL Moments Awards sa Setyembre 29.
Ilan sa igagawad na parangal ang Dime specialist, Ate, Upbeat, Crowning Moment, Hardest Hitter, Tiktokerist of the Conference, Block Party, Serving Standout, Best Volleyball Save, Best Coach Kodak at Offense Leader awards.
