MANILA, Philippines — Inaasahang hahataw ang mga matitinik na UAAP at NCAA teams sa Shakey’s Super League (SSL) 2022 Collegiate Preseason Women’s Volleyball Championship.
Kabilang sa mga inimbitahan ng mga organizers ay ang UAAP Season 84 champion National University Lady Bulldogs at ang runner-up De La Salle Lady Spikers bukod sa NCAA Season 97 titlist na La Salle-College of St. Benilde Lady Blazers at second-placer Arellano Lady Chiefs.
Ang 2022 Collegiate Preseason tournament ay ang pagbabalik ng Shakey’s sa local volleyball scene matapos maging title sponsor ng Shakey’s V-League simula noong 2004.
“We plan to organize a truly national invitational championship that will be rooted among the colleges and students in the 18 regions, 81 provinces and 145 cities all over the Philippines,” ani Shakey’s Pizza Asia Ventures Inc. (SPAVI) president Vicente Gregorio sa isang statement.
Nakatutok ang Shakey’s sa primary, secondary, collegiate at student volleyball.
Makikipagtulungan din sila sa Commission on Higher Education (CHED) para sa pagpapatupad ng health and safety protocols kapag nagsimula na ang torneo.
