Pinag-ibayong security measures sa NAIA, pinuri

MANILA, Philippines – Binigyang papuri ng United States Transportation Security Administration o TSA sa kanilang pagpupulong ang Manila International Airport Authority sa pangunguna ni MIAA general manager Ed Monreal, dahil sa pinag-ibayo nito ang security measures na ipinatutupad sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Sinabi ni TSA Inspector Carlos Martinez, sa mga opisyal ng MIAA, na “ha­ving worked with you since January , I’ve seen the effort that has been done day by day by MIAA management. You should be nothing short of proud, real proud of what you’ve done.’’

Ayon kay Martinez, ang MIAA ay nakakatugon sa ICAO standards at mga bagay na sinang-ayunan sa loob ng mga nakaraang assessements. Ito ay kapuri-puri.

Idinagdag pa nito na may mga  nananatiling ilang minor areas na dapat pagbutihin pa gayunman pinagbuti nang husto ng MIAA ang kanilang pagpapatupad ng security measures kaya naman binalewala  ng TSA ang kanilang ‘public notice’ na inisyu ng US Department of Homeland Security (US-DHS) tungkol sa security operations sa NAIA.
