P/Captain timbog sa ‘kotong’

MANILA, Philippines — Bagsak kalaboso ang isang Police Captain matapos itong arestuhin ng mga operatiba ng PNP-Counter-Intelligence Task Force (PNP-CITF) sa kasong extortion sa isinagawang entrapment operation sa Camp Crame, kama­kalawa.

 Kinilala ni PNP Chief Police General Oscar Albayalde ang nasakoteng suspect na si P/Captain Gerry Revecho, Chief ng ID Production Section Supervisory Office for Security and Investigation Agencies (SOSIA).

Si Revecho ay ina­resto bandang alas-2:10 ng hapon ng mga ope­ratiba ng PNP-CITF sa loob mismo ng tanggapan ng PNP-Sosia sa Camp Crame.

Inaresto si Revecho sa aktong tumatanggap ng P20,000.00 marked money mula sa isang CITF agent na nagpanggap na kinatawan ng isang security agency.

Ang nasabing halaga ay bilang lagay umano para mapabilis ang pagpoproseso ng ID cards para sa 32 security guards ng isang security agency.

“Aside from criminal charges for violation of the Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act and the Anti Red Tape Act, Revecho will also face administrative cases for his actions”, ayon kay Albayalde.
