Federalism task force binuo ni Duterte

MANILA, Philippines — Bumuo na ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Federalism and constitutional reform si Pangulong Duterte.

Sa pamamagitan ng Memorandum Circular no. 52 na nilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea ay inaatasan nito ang IATF na magsagawa ng public information drive at advocacy campaign sa grassroot level para sa kaa­laman ng publiko hinggil sa pe­deralismo.

Ang IATF ay pamumunuan ng kalihim ng Department of Interior and Local Government katuwang ang kalihim ng Department of Justice.

Ang miyembro naman ng IATF ay ang kalihim ng Office of the Cabinet Secretary, Presidential Management Staff, Presidential Communications Operations Office, Office of the Presidential Spokesman, Presidential Legislative Liaison Office, Office of the Political Adviser, Commission on Higher Education, Development Academy of the Philippines at University of the Philippines Law Center.

Magugunita na unang bumuo ng Consultative Committee sa pamamagitan ng EO no. 10 si Pa­ngulong Duterte upang magsagawa ng kolsultas­yon at panukalang am­yenda sa 1987 Constitution upang isulong ang federa­lism.
