AiAi gusto nang magpaka-full time housewife

Back in town na obviously for good ang anak na babae ni AiAi delas Alas, ang 23-year-old na si Sophia delas Alas, who together with brother, Nicolo, lived with her dad, former actor Miguel Vera, in the USA.

Miguel and his family are residents of America.

Tall, pretty at sexy, Sophia has the making of a movie star. Which is what she will do, now that she’s back home, obviously for good.

Happily, Sophia has AiAi’s permission to follow her footsteps. In fact, kasama siya sa cast ng Sons of Nanay Sabel (SONS), a Viva Films presentation, topbilled by AiAi and mga alaga nitong members of the group, ang Ex Battalion.

AiAi made sure, though na nakatapos ng kanyang pag-aaral sa America si Sophia. Kung anong course ang natapos nito, AiAi didn’t specify though.

Balak daw talaga ni AiAi to be busier than thou till matapos ang taong 2019, since next year (2020), type niyang maging full-time housewife sa kanyang 24-year-old husband na si Gerald Sibayan, whom she married in 2017.

Kaya heto at pagkatapos mai-showing ang SONS, ipapalabas naman ang Kiko En Lala, co-starring her naman with Super Tekla, Kiray Celis, Kim Domingo, Derrick Monasterio at Jo Berry.

But as AiAi, a devotee of the Blessed Virgin said: “We cannot argue with the good things na balak para sa atin ni Jesus. And of course, His Mom.”

In June, her movie with Bayani Agbayani, Feelinials, directed by Richie del Carmen and produced by Pops Fernandez, the concert queen and ex-wife ni Martin Nievera, will be released.

And she has another movie, too, with Horseshoe Productions, titled And Ai Thank You.

And if plans do not miscarry, baka may gawin daw siyang movie for Regal Entertainment before the year ends.

Tayo Sa Huling Buwan ng Taon kakaibang love story

Hindi usual love story na tulad ng napapanood natin sa ilang pelikula at TV shows, o kaya naririnig na nating kuwento ng pag-ibig, itong bagong handog ng TBA Studios, Tayo Sa Huling Buwan ng Taon.

Topbilled by Alex Medina, Nicco Manalo, Vera at Anna Luna, it is directed by Nestor Abrogena, who reveals that Tayo Sa Huling Buwan… is sort of a sequel sa indie film na ginawa niya, which was a surprise box-office hit, Ang Kuwento Nating Dalawa.

Like Ang Kuwento… which premiered in the 2015 World Premiere Festival in Pasay City, Tayo Sa Huling Buwan…, will have screenings in school and micro-cinemas in Metro Manila.

Edu pinanghihinayangan

Sad naman na kinukwestiyon daw ng COMELEC ang pagtakbo for Congressman ng lone district ng San Juan na si Edu Manzano. Well, diumano dahil sa kanyang citizenship.

Giit nila, kahit Filipino born citizen ito, the fact na nag-serve siya sa US Armed Forces, means isang US Citizen siya.

Well nakalimutan yata ng COMELEC na nag-serve ng minsan si Edu bilang Vice Mayor ng Makati at tumakbo siya at one time bilang Vice President ng Pilipinas.

And in fairness, kay Edu, bihira siyang umalis ng Pilipinas.
